True Crime Webring!

welcome to the true crime webring, dedicated to linking together fans of the true crime genre!

please join this webring if you have an interest in learning about any true crime cases!

requirements

you must have a personal website
you are NOT required to have any true crime content on your website, anyone who likes the topic can join :)
you must be willing to have your site url on the index page below
you must have the widget somewhere on your website, and please link that specific page to be indexed. i will check semi-regularly and those who remove the widget are considered removed from the ring.

how to join?

step 1. first copy and paste this code exactly where you want the widget to be

step 2. send me an email with the following template filled out to be added and receive the css file! (alternatively if you dont wanna email me, shoot me a dm on tumblr, thats the only socials i have.)

True Crime Webring Join Request 1. (paste site url here) - link the index page of your site 2. (paste widget page url here) - link the page the widget is located on 3. find a gif or image of your favourite case or perpetrator, and link the gif here. please make sure its downloadable for me (step 3 is so i can add a custom gif or image onto your specific widget! also please make sure its relatively small in resolution and file size, nothing over 300x300px and 5mb, and nothing extremely NSFW, like keep it 16+) 4. fill out the following info (optional, i am making a cool section as seen below with links and info about the members all in a table, like the index but with css, you can fill out as many of the following fields if you want, or let me know if you want to opt out of that) 4a. name you wish to be refered to as 4b. favourite case(s), maximum 3 4c. a short message about your site (nothing over 20 words) 5. please if your website contains any 18+ content such as adult content or gore, make a note here, otherwise leave this blank

step 3. youll soon receive an email from me with a link to the css file, the line of code to paste into your tag for a custom widget and styling, and confirmation that youre added!

also alternatively if you dont want a custom widget and just want it plain, include that in step 3

ive left the styling of the widget fairly simple, so itll hopefully inherit some of your page's css, you can override it with your own if you like, but i wont give assistance with that, its all up to you what you do with it!

guidelines

as mentioned before, please notify me if your website is 18+ so i can add a warning to the index
if you want to leave either send me an email to get removed immediately, or delete the widget and ill eventually remove you once i notice
ALL are welcome, any age, views, identities, interests... as long as we all share a general interest in true crime!
